Ear cup speakers and an electret microphone help eliminate incidental noise and a new, high-efficiency boom microphone helps conserve battery power. The Stratus 50 Digital also features Telex’s innovative cell phone/MP3 adapter which allows you to attach both your cell phone and MP3 player at the same time – no more switching cords! Plus you can mute both at a flick of a switch.

With soft headpad cushions, adjustable headband, and on-the-head weight specs of only 3/4 oz., the 5x5 Pro III provides true lightweight comfort. Single receiver features single pliable, soft eartip receiver. High quality electret mic has flexible boom which can be worn on left or right side. Can be worn without headband by clipping to eyeglass bows or after market custom earmold. Order Push-to-Talk switch for aircraft not so equipped. FAA TSO C57 & C58 Approved.

Exclusive Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Technology
Patented SmartSense digital ANR technology cancels harmful frequencies other headsets can’t handle. SmartSense learns from its environment, adjusting and canceling the harmful noises unique to your airplane. Because SmartSense looks for patterns of noise to block—such as repetitive engine or recurring wind sounds—you will always hear unusual noises that signal changes in the aircraft or environment. Low Profile, Adjustable Headband
Low profile headband provides even distribution of weight without pressure points. Adjustment sliders allow you to select a custom fit while plush, soft headband cushion eliminates hot spots.

Impact-resistant Headband Design
The Stratus 50 Digital utilizes an impact-resistant headband design with stainless steel reinforced stress points to increase durability and distribute weight evenly.

New heat-sensitive, slow-recovery foam earpiece cushions form a secure, but comfortable fit — even around sunglasses. Cushions have the luxurious feel of lambskin leather but repel moisture and oils—and are simple to clean.
