"I received my pilot's license in 1980 and flew through about 1984. At that time, I decided to quit for awhile being recently married and starting a family. I didn't realize "for awhile" would be 22 years. Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to start again. Needless to say, when I first stepped foot into the office I was abit nervous. The office staff was very cordial and easy to work with. It only got better when starting my refresher training for the biennial. My instructor (James Banks) was very patient in familiarizing me with the aircraft "again". If I had any questions pertaining to the reg. changes since the '80s, he was very quick to get the answer. He recently signed me off and I'm having a great time now. Training with "Harvey-Rihn" has been a very enjoyable experience and I would recommend you to anyone. Thanks again" Terry Burton
"I have had my pilot's license for almost 40 years, and so I have had the opportunity to both fly and instruct at a number of flight schools. I can say without reservation that H&R is the best operation I have ever experienced. The main reason is that we specialize in tailwheel and aerobatic flying. This is obviously an advantage for anyone who wishes to take such training. However, it is also an advantage for even the novice student who is taking primary instruction. This is because most of our instructors, even those who do not teach aerobatics, have both practical and theoretical experience in flying at unusual attitudes. This makes our instructor corps a cut above what is readily available elsewhere. The quality of our flight instructors means that the average student will be exposed to better training with respect to aerodynamics, stalls/spins, and emergency situations." Jim Smolen
